While you’re never too far from water in the capital, our motto is you can’t ever get enough beaches in Abu Dhabi. And now you have one more to add to your list next time you want to head to the sea.
Over on Hudayriyat Island, Marsana East has entered the chat. Offering premium amenities, it will set you back Dhs50 on weekdays and Dhs100 on the weekends.
You can also order food and drinks straight to your sunbed, so it really is the perfect recipe for a winter daycation.
There is also Marsana West, which offers a cheaper alternative Dhs25 on weekdays and Dhs50 on weekends.
But don’t worry – the main Hudayriyat Beach remains free of charge.
And this is not the only new treat coming out of Hudayriyat Island this year. The sports island will also be the stage of two huge things happening in Abu Dhabi in 2025.
The first will be the first-ever time that Abu Dhabi welcomes a surfing competition. Yep, the World Surf League is coming to Surf Abu Dhabi on February 14-16, a stop in its 2025 Championship Tour.
The second is the opening of the much-awaited Velodrome, which is set to open later this year. And this 3,500-seater venue won’t just be a place to cycle – it’s the region’s first UCI Category 1 indoor track and a symbol of Abu Dhabi’s mission to become the ultimate “Bike City”.
