The Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Cases Court ordered an individual to pay a woman Dhs20,000 in compensation for sending her abusive messages via WhatsApp and using abusive language over the phone.

Specifically, the woman filed a lawsuit against the defendant, requesting that he be ordered to pay her Dhs90,000 in compensation for psychological and material damages.

These damages are proven by evidence and documents.

The plaintiff also requested that the judgement be enforced immediately without bail, given the ongoing impact of the damages on her life and psychological well-being.

Furthermore, she requested that the defendant be charged with the legal fees and expenses.

She based her claim on the assertion that he sent her an abusive message via WhatsApp. He also phoned her and used abusive language towards her.

As a result, a criminal case was filed and a judgement issued, and the complainant suffered material and moral damage, prompting her to file this lawsuit.
