Dubai has launched a new scheme which could give major perks to content creators in the emirate.

The Creators HQ will help influencers with relocating, provide hundreds of special workshops and even assist in getting the sought-after UAE Golden Visa.

Newly opened at Emirates Towers, the Creators HQ is part of the 1 Billion Followers Summit being held in Dubai which aims to attract more content creators to the city.

It aims to amplify the impact of creators in the country and follows on from the Dhs150 million Content Creators Support Fund which was announced at the 2024 summit.

The 2025 edition of the summit brought together more than 15,000 content creators, more than 420 speakers and 125 CEO and global experts between Saturday January 11 and Monday January 13.

The Creators HQ is an initiative which will see 300 events and workshops held every year and caters to the growing demands of the global creator economy.

Members of the Creators HQ will have access to the UAE Golden Visa application assistance, relocation support, company setup and registration.

The Golden Visa allows people to stay in the UAE for between five and 10 years without having to renew their visa or the need for a national sponsor.

The initiative aims to attract creators to the UAE for a longer stay.

Dubai aims to nurture the talents of content creators with camps for young influencers, mentorship opportunities, funding and workshops on branding, video production, storytelling, audience engagement, monetisation and sponsorship.

The emirate hopes to attract and support a diverse range of talent including social media influencers, digital content creators, podcasters and visual artists.

The newly established Creators HQ aims to target key players in the creative industries such as advertising and marketing firms, media and music producers, animation studios and fashion and lifestyle brands.

Dubai will also partner with social media platforms, streaming services, gaming and esports firms, virtual and augmented reality developers and AI and machine learning start-ups.
