The first ever Dubai Future Forum is set to take place on Monday October 10 and Tuesday October 11 at the most fitting of venues, Dubai’s Museum of the Future.
This will be the first edition of Dubai Future Forum, which is intended to be an annual event.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) said: “We are passionate about the practice of foresight, and it deserves to have an annual event that recognizes its importance.”
The likes of Expo 2020 and the Museum of the Future have already demonstrated Dubai’s promise to bridge the gap between the present and the future.
At this discussion for the future of humanity, 400 global futurists, thought-leaders and experts across all walks of life will represent over 15 organizations and institutions.
We’re talking the most beautiful NFTs in the Metaverse (in the most beautiful building on Earth, no less), risks and solutions for the future, ways to enhance the quality of life – the whole shebang.
Four themes will form the basis of interactions at the forum, including “the future of the world, values and humanity, existential risks, and anticipating future changes,” which will take place spread across 30 sessions within two days.
The event hopes to help forge relationships between governments, institutions and people, and come up with strategies to become ready for the future.
