As all the leading fashion houses descended in Italy over the last week, Gucci delivered nothing short of an exquisite collection (quite literally) at Milan Fashion Week.

For the Fall/Winter 2022 collection entitled ‘Exquisite Gucci’, the Italian fashion house joined hands with Adidas to showcase an array of athleisure-inspired pieces.

As an effortless collaboration between retro-chic and whimsical, the show stunned the audience as Gucci’s signature silhouettes were adorned.

With a striking palette featuring bold hues ranging from royal purples to glossy reds, the collection was just as exquisite as its title proclaimed. The other brightly coloured pieces included tracksuits, vintage-inspired gowns and the Adidas’ classic white stripes, which added an imprint of the brand’s trademark.

Some of the key standout pieces in the collection included accessories and footwear that featured fabrics and prints ranging from velvet fabrics with the “GG” symbol.

Alessandro Michele, the house’s creative director said, “I celebrate clothes as real optical labs, magical machines that can give birth to fairy tales of metamorphosis and re-enchantment.”

“Wearing them means to cross a transformative threshold where we become something else, it means to be able to enhance and articulate in a different way our identity and our exhibiting potential,” he added.

Several VIP attendees were also spotted at the show, including the likes of Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Kim Kardashian, Francis Bourgeois and many more.
