Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is offering the public a chance to own exclusive, premium licence plates for private and vintage vehicles, and motorcycles.

With 300 unique two, three, four, and five-digit plates available at the 78th e-auction, this is an amazing chance to flaunt one-of-a-kind numbers that will stand out on the road.

These licence plates include select codes across A, B, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z and even a special code 2 for motorcycles.

Registration for the auction will open on Monday, February 10, and will remain available for just five days. The online auction itself will kick off on February 17.

To participate in this event, individuals must ensure they have a valid traffic file with RTA and pay a non-refundable subscription fee of Dh120.

Additionally, all participants are required to provide a security deposit cheque of Dh5,000 payable to RTA. Payments can be made at RTA’s Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Al Barsha, and Deira, or online via the official website, www.rta.ae.

A 5 per cent VAT will apply to all purchases made during the event. Once the auction concludes, successful bidders will be required to make full payment within 10 working days. Payments can be settled in cash or via credit card at RTA’s service provider centres or Customer Happiness Centres.
