The slides are staying on, the lights are going up and Aquaventure World is getting ready for a very different kind of night. Aquaventure After Dark is back for one night, bringing three entertainment zones, live acts and after-hours rides to the park.

The action will be spread across three areas, each with its own feel. Torrent Beach hosts the headline performance, backed by Neptune Tower and a full production of lights, lasers, flame effects and giant LED screens. Over at the competition zone, expect interactive group challenges with prizes up for grabs, while Trident Tower brings a culture-led space filled with emerging sounds, social happenings and guest activations.

With more than 105 slides, rides and attractions across Aquaventure World, there’s no shortage of ways to get your adrenaline fix. Some of the biggest rides will be running after sunset, including Odyssey of Terror, Blackout and Immortal Falls.

There will be food stations across the park throughout the night, too. Poseidon’s Village will have loaded hot dogs, burgers, oven-baked pizza, Asian dishes, vegan options and its signature Atlantis strawberries with chocolate drizzle. Snappers keeps things in diner territory with loaded fries, buffalo popcorn chicken, flaming shrimp waffle cones and vegan burgers.

For the first time, you can add After Dark to your Day Pass. Once the daytime fun wraps up, add-on ticket holders can head to a dedicated area on Aquaventure Beach, where music and food will set the tone before they continue into the evening event. Tickets start from Dhs169 until 20 September, subject to availability. The event is open to guests aged 13 and above and runs from 8pm to midnight.
