Qatar Airways to offer free entry for passengers for Expo 2023 Doha

Qatar Airways, the national carrier of the State and the official strategic partner for the Expo 2023 Doha has announced various initiatives for the duration of the landmark event, including free entry vouchers to all international travellers for the duration of the Expo.

The airline has confirmed its commitment to attract global attention to the event and promote Qatar as a top travel destination.

Expo 2023 Doha will be the first A1 International Horticultural Exhibition in Qatar and is set to take place from October 2023 to March 2024 at the Al Bidda Park, Doha.

With the theme of “Green Desert, Better Environment”, the Expo aims to attract international communities including the participation of 80 countries and expects to attract over three million visitors.

Qatar Airways in celebration of the partnership is gearing up to launch an exclusive aircraft livery which will be unveiled in the coming month, featuring the Expo 2023 Doha logo.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, said: “The upcoming months promise an array of cultural, environmental, and innovative experiences in Qatar for visitors from around the globe. As the Official Strategic Partner for Expo 2023 Doha, we look forward to welcoming international guests to Qatar, offering them our signature hospitality and connecting them to this monumental event.”

Travelers aboard Qatar Airways during the Expo 2023 will receive artwork, healthy dining options and welcome videos.

The event’s main theme will be based around four subthemes:

  • Technology & Innovation
  • Environmental Awareness
  • Sustainability
